Description
Stained glass Maple leaves hanging from a beaver stick ( a stick that was naturally collected from a northern Ontario river that has bite marks created by a beaver ). In addition, there are glass gem embellishments hanging from a decorative chain.
Each leaf has 7 pieces of hand-cut glass specially selected to depict the reds and oranges of the autumn maple leaf which is perhaps the most prominent symbol of Canada.
Another prominent Canadian symbol is the ever-industrious beaver. Along with leaves, the beaver eats the inner and out bark from trees. On a “beaver stick,” you will see the marks left on the wood from the beaver’s teeth.
The beaver stick was naturally collected from a river in Northern Ontario.
